WAVERLEY Council says a planning application is about to be submitted by developer Crest Nicholson for a bridge access from the A31 to the East Street redevelopment site for use by construction traffic.

The council was answering a campaigner's claim, made during public question time at the recent Waverley Local Committee meeting, that planning consent for the entire redevelopment has now expired.
