ALMOST 150 people descended upon Farnham’s latest children’s nursery for its grand opening tea party earlier this month.

The Mayor of Farnham, Mike Hodge, was on-hand to officially open Bright Horizons Farnham Day Nursery and Preschool in Monkton Lane while numerous parents and members of the community enjoyed an array of cakes and activities.

“We had Miller’s Ark Animals,” said nursery manager Alex Buckwell. “Luckily the weather held out for us and everybody enjoyed the day.”
