HASLEMERE'S Christmas lights fund is to receive a welcome £7,500 boost this year, thanks to a one off grant from Haslemere Town Council.
Memebers of the finance and general purposes committee agreed last week to contribute a £5,000 capital grant, as well as a revenue grant of £2,500 already included in this year's budget, towards the cost of upgrading the light fittings.
