RESIDENTS joined parish councillors for a working party that planted saplings and hedgerows along at the Charles Church development in Brislands Lane.
Four Marks parish clerk Sarah Goudie said the parish council had obtained a pack of 105 trees from the Woodlands Trust.
“The trees will boost various depleted hedgerows around the recreation ground and add to the trees that have been lost due to the huge amount of recent development,” she said.
Woodlands Trust officer Simon Gray was on hand to advise and assist with the planting.
