A VINTAGE racing car sold for around £2,000 from Mike Hawthorn's TT Garage in Farnham in 1953 is expected to fetch around half a million pounds at auction next week.

The 1932 Barnato-Hassan Special Bentley is to be sold as lot 199 at the Christie's Exceptional Motor Car Sale, to be held at the Jack Barclay Showroom in London, on Monday.
