SUPPORTERS of a much-loved old Petersfield care home for vulnerable people, under threat of closure, have called for an 11th-hour reprieve.
Campaigners claimed at a meeting last week that Hampshire County Council is doing its best to rid the town of Bulmer House and its needy residents.
A consultation closes today with councillor Anna McNair-Scott, the county council's executive member for adult social care, due to make a final decision on future of the facility, in Ramshill, on November 27.
