OBJECTORS to proposals for a woodland burial ground on land belonging to a hotel near the Six Bells roundabout have misunderstood the nature of the plans, the hotel owner behind the scheme claimed this week.

Mark Wilson, of Farnham Park Hotel (formerly Poacher's Barn), said he wanted to reassure neighbours that they will neither have their privacy invaded nor a forest planted on their doorsteps.
