AN ambitious new community transport scheme planned to link Petersfield with other towns across East Hampshire has been dropped.

The shock news comes after more than £600,000 in developers' contributions had been set aside to fuel East Hampshire District Council's bid to extend the community transport network across the district, which was due to begin this spring.
