KPC Creative Communication, which is based in Farnham, has scooped the title of Micro Business of the Year at the Surrey Business Awards.

The sell-out event, which was held in Dorking, saw companies from across the region recognised for meeting the challenges of the pandemic. KPC was shortlisted in two categories: Micro Business and Professional Services, highlighting the positive impact smaller businesses have on the local and wider economy.

In announcing the winner, sponsor Surrey Business Magazine said the category had been extremely difficult to judge, and the standard of entries had been high.

"We are delighted to have won this award at the end of a challenging year for all businesses," said Deborah Kingsley, managing director at KPC.

"Our team has worked hard to support our clients as they recover from the effects of the pandemic, and we have won new clients too. This is a real testament to our ability to deliver strategic marketing plans that measurably help our clients, and to our reputation for always going the extra mile to support their success."

The awards evening was hosted by former newsreader and Strictly Come Dancing winner Natasha Kaplinsky.
