The football-mad organisers of a networking breakfast in Farnham have urged people to get shirty in support of a popular charity.

Bosses and workers at Branston Adams will have a ball next Thursday (October 2) as the town centre firm will celebrate its annual Football Shirt Day.

Staff will be encouraged to wear the shirt of their favourite football team to the office in return for a donation to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care.

And they’re hoping footy fans in Farnham and further afield will do the same in supporting their campaign.

“We would encourage as many organisations, businesses, schools and individuals in joining is in wearing a football shirt of their choice,” said a spokesperson for Branston Adams.

“We would encourage anyone participating to post on their social media platforms with the hash tag, #footballshirtday and feel free to tag Branston Adams.

“We are asking our connections and followers to contribute £1 or as much as you can afford to Phyllis Tuckwell in return, but you are also more than welcome to come into the office or use the www.justgiving.com link at https://shorturl.at/7hXEl

There’s more to the firm than football and fundraising as Branston Adams have also netted an inspirational guest speaker to headline their networking breakfast event on the same day.

Local research and coaching psychologist Isabelle Fielding will give networkers an insight into how she has helped organisations creating meaningful change.

She works at the intersection of psychology, coaching, and leadership, turning evidence-based research into practical tools that support personal growth, professional development and organisational impact.

The Breakfast Networking Event will take place at the Castle Pub from 8am with entry £5 for Phyllis Tuckwell. For more details or to reserve a space call 01252 728598 or email [email protected]
