YOUNG footballers from Farnham have got a new sponsor.

Farnham Town Knights Youth under-13s will be resplendent in new kits supplied by the Aldershot branch of Covers.

The team, which is part of Farnham Town Football Club, will have the builders merchants’ logo included on its kit during the rest of this season and next season.

Leigh Rogers, of Farnham Town Knights Youth under-13s, said: “We are very grateful for Covers’ support and would like to thank them for backing us. After such an exciting summer of football we are really looking forward to the upcoming season. The whole team can’t wait to wear their new kit and start playing some competitive matches.”

Caroline Taylor, depot manager at Covers Aldershot, added: “We pride ourselves on working with local community groups and supporting initiatives that encourage children to keep active.

“We are delighted to be sponsoring Farnham Town Knights Youth under-13s and wish them the best of luck for a successful season.”
