A REVISED application for a pair of semi-detached, two-storey homes at 66 The Butts in Alton has sparked debate over the apparent vagaries of the planning process.

Set in a high-profile conservation area, the development has aroused feeling within objectors concerned that the houses are overbearing while those in favour welcome them as being more in keeping with the rest of the houses on that side of The Butts.
