DESPERATE appeals have gone out to local businesses this week to sponsor a vital community service.

The appeal comes following a crisis meeting last Friday when the East Hampshire Citizens Advice Bureau considered a number of options, including the partial closure of outlets and a potential reduction in opening hours to tackle the proposed 20 per cent short fall in its core funding by Eat Hampshire District Council.
