CAB is to restate its grant case to town council panel

HASLEMERE Citizens Advice Bureau is to be allowed to make a presentation to Haslemere Town Council after a climb down over a recommended refusal by the grants panel to a £6,000 application for funds.

The grant application had been submitted for the CAB to find funding for additional management hours and was in line with increases from Godalming and Farnham Town Councils which had recently increased their grant funding to the CAB.
