FANCY an evening of jazz and a bite to eat on the patio? Or simply sip on a G&T in front of the stage while soaking up some great live jazz?
Then head to The Duke of Cambridge pub in Tilford this May Bank Holiday weekend as it hosts its CherryFest charity music festival.
The festival kicks off on Sunday, May 28, from 6pm to 9pm, with The Ollie West Band, a seven-piece group centred around the keyboard skills of 19-year-old Ollie West.
He will be followed by headliner, The Mayfair Syncopators, a quartet specialising in material from the early days of jazz and blues up to the present.
Bank Holiday Monday (May 29), will see a variety of acts performing throughout the day, from 12pm to 9pm, including Sour Kix, Backwoods Creek, Will Shackleton Band, Megan & the Common Threads, Raffle break and Free From Gravity.
Food will be available throughout the day, including barbecues, a hog roast, sweet treats and more.
The pub is also introducing an additional outside bar complete with draught beers and ciders, and there will be plenty to keep the little ones happy, with inflatables, an animal petting zoo, professional face painters and a kids entertainer. A charity raffle will also be taking place.
Visitors can keep nourished on the many food stalls which will include Crêpe Roulette, Dylan’s Ice Cream and Bark ‘n’ Render.

ford.co.uk/cherryfest/- cost £10 for the Sunday, and £6 for adults and £2 for children (ages 12 and under) on the Monday – children aged three and under, go free.
All proceeds go to Cherry Trees, which provide home from home short break/respite care for children and young people aged zero to 19 with a range of disabilities including learning, physical and sensory impairments.
