On the continuing saga of Farnham traffic problems and/or Downing Street, I agree with both J F Ezekiel and Edward Sherwell (April 7).
I have been operating the CCTV cameras for the five years since they were set up and from by observations when there are no deliveries etc. being made in the Borough or to a lesser extent in Downing Street, the traffic flows freely through the town.
Most often two or even three vans parked in the borough cause a single lane chicane and backups through the town.

i do not know whether any other CCTV operators have been consulted on these matters but we are the ones who watch the traffic.
