A BABY girl has died after sustaining serious head injuries in an incident with a car in Bordon. On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Ashleigh Braunton-Turner, aged 20 months of Lamerton Close, died as a result of her injuries. Around 9am on the morning of the incident, which occured close to the baby's home at the end of September, the young girl was air lifted by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance and taken to Great Ormond Street Hospital. Other details surrounding the incident have not been released pending a full police investigation. However, it is known that the car involved was a VW Golf and no one has been arrested in relation to the matter.
