THE return of the Bordon Bike Car Treasured Vehicle Show was described as “a great success”, with more than 40 cars and bikes exhibiting at the Bordon and Oakhanger Sports Centre.

The event, on September 29, was a celebration of vintage vehicles from years gone by and saw owners coming together to show off their prized motors, raising more than £200 for The Rosemary Foundation in the process. The charity provides a hospice-at-home service in Petersfield and its surrounding towns and villages, helping patients in the latter stages of terminal conditions.

A spokesman from the Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company, which helped to organise the event, said: “A special thanks goes out to community member Barry Poulter, who significantly helped us with the organisation of the event and Whitehill Town Council.”
