WHITEHILL vandals damaged the same car for the third time in four months. The car was left overnight on a drive in a residential area of the town on October 13 and vandals slashed all four tyres. The owner of the vehicle was extremely distressed by this most recent vandalism. Previous incidents have included pouring oven cleaner on the bodywork, which stripped and damaged every panel of paint. This is the second time they have damaged the tyres on the car. The incidents seem to occur at the same time each month, happening on July 13, August 10 and October 13. The owner of the car said: "We're all devastated. There were knife marks in all of the tyres – and that's whatis worrying, these knives could have done anything to anyone. "It's just one thing after the other, and I just want to find out who is responsible. I would ask anyone with any information to contact the police."
