FIFTY people crowded a planning meeting called by the parish council in Greatham to protest against plans to use a greenfield site as a home for a gypsy family's caravans and mobile homes in Wolfmere Lane.

Danny Shea, who attended last Thursday's meeting on behalf of his son, declined to speak, telling members all the details were written on the application.
