SURREY County Council has approved a plan to cut its carbon dioxide emissions by 20 per cent and save an estimated £11m on its energy bills over the next four years.
That's a saving of 21,000 tonnes of carbon or the equivalent of travelling almost 63,000,000 miles in an average car.
