NOMINATIONS have opened for the CARE Awards 2015 to recognise most inspiring team or individual working in mental health, learning disability and drug and alcohol services.

The CARE Awards are being launched by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to reward those staff, volunteers, governors and partners who have delivered outstanding service in the last year.

They replace the trust’s STARS staff recognition awards and are part of a new programme to support staff to do the best they can to help people have a better life.

A new category of Positive CARE Champion of the Year is included. Further categories are: Employee of the Year, Team of the Year, Support Worker of the Year – Non-clinical, Support Worker of the Year - Clinical, Volunteer of the Year, Leader of the Year, Involvement Champion of the Year, Partner of the Year.
