BUPA has shocked elderly residents of Crispins and Loadhams care home in Farnham with plans to demolish it and build a larger £4.5m facility in its place.

Staff, residents and family members were invited to a meeting at the Waverley Lane home last Wednesday, where Bupa regional director Rhona McLeod confirmed the private healthcare provider was seeking permission to demolish their home.
