RESIDENTS of Bramshott Place Village are continuing their fight to stop a care home for 64 residents and an extra 40 cottages being built in the grounds of their "retirement" village.
They attended the last parish council planning committee meeting, armed with a lengthy statement, listing their objections to a proposed planning application.
After several meetings with the residents and amendments to its original plans, owner Helical is also proposing an extension to the existing club house for phase four of the Bramshott Place site, at King George's Drive, as well as a temporary construction access route from Hewshott Lane.
Residents' association chairman Marilyn Odgen raised strong objections when addressing the parish councillors.
