STAFF and residents at Westlands Care Home in Headmore Lane, Four Marks, hosted a coffee morning on October 8 which raised a magnificent £200 for Macmillan Cancer Care.

Supported by a tombola, a cake competition and a cake sale, the event received a great deal of support, not least by staff and relatives making cakes which ranged from velvet vanilla cake to cupcakes and Victoria sponges to a Dolly Mixture-filled cake.

The Westlands home manager has expressed grateful thanks to all those who supported the event.
