A PAIR of remarkable children have backed a revolutionary bid to make Petersfield the home of the UK's first wheelchair-friendly skatepark. Dylan Gladstone and Florence Gray will get on their bikes next weekend as part of a bid to raise £138,000 for the second phase of Petersfield skatepark. They have decided to take part in the LiDBA charity ride on behalf of the Festival for Young People group that built the facility off Love Lane. The pair are no ordinary youngsters as Dylan is just four while Florence is a seven-year-old from Liss who suffers from cerebral palsy. The former is hoping to complete a lap of the junior ride at Bohunt School next Sunday, June 8, given her disability, while Dylan has set a target of four. They offered to take part in the charity bike ride after seeing the proposals for the skatepark extension at the Petersfield Spring Festival. For full story, see this week's Petersfield Herald.
