PUPILS at St Andrew’s Infant School in Farnham held their own version of Remembrance Day.
It featured a special remembrance assembly in the hall as the whole school fell silent for two minutes.
The children also made their own tribute to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War by transforming paper plates into poppies which were then displayed on the school railings just before the service on Sunday at St Andrew’s Church.
Several St Andrew’s pupils took part in ceremonies in Farnham over the weekend and a wreath was laid at the war memorial in Gostrey Meadow.
