A COLOURFUL procession of brightly-coloured floats representing many of the town's organisations enterrtained the crowds who turned out in their droves to enjoy Haslemere Carnival on Bank Holiday Monday.
The event was the finale to a month of millennium festivities in the town and included a fun run and half-marathon relay organised by Haslemere Border Athletic Club, a beer and wine festival, rustic sports and a variety of stalls and attractions on Lion Green.
