TRAVEL journalist and photographer Ramy Salameh presented Mr Changho Cha, director of the Korea Tourism Organisation, with one of the images from his exhibition ‘Travel Captured Through My Lens,’ which was on display at Haslemere Museum last month.

The Korea Tourism Organisation’s deputy director Mr Hyeongjoon Kim and the curator of the museum Julia Tanner were also at the museum presentation.

Ramy, who has worked with the KTO for many years, said: “South Korea is a country that is very photogenic and is growing in popularity with visitors from Europe, hence these specific photos sit prominently among the other destinations showcased in the exhibition.”

Ramy, who is from Haslemere, has been in the travel industry since graduating from Bournemouth University and he has carved out a writing career as a travel journalist and photographer.

In 2011, he became an award-winning journalist for an article he wrote based on a cycling trip, which he and a friend Jeff Cox, also from Haslemere, undertook across the Arnhem-Nijmegen region of Holland.
