A £430,000 package of safety measures drawn up for the notorious Whitehill crossroads is expected to be implemented this summer.
Measures expected to be put in place include a roundabout, a 30 mph zone, cycle lanes on both sides of carriageways and a traffic island near the bus turning-circle which should make the area safer for pedestrians.
