SURREY will receive an extra £4.2m to spend on road repairs over the next two years, the Department for Transport has confirmed.
The money will come from a £215m Government funding pot to be given to local authorities across the country to spend on improving roads.
It comes just weeks after Farnham councillors Pat Frost, Denise Le Gal and David Munro called on residents to nominate roads in the town that need major repairs.
