TRAGEDY has again struck a Bordon widower and his family just months after his wife died.
As well as coping with the loss of his wife Julie and being left to bring up five children (four of whom are disabled), Alan Morgan also took over the care of his late wife's 10 cats.
They were all loved family pets, but about six weeks ago one disappeared, followed by another on October 31. One, a male tabby, was found dead in a neighbour's garden. Another cat died suddenly in the family kitchen and another, a kitten, was so ill it had to be taken to the vet, but it later died.
Mr Morgan said he was "at a loss" to know why the cats died so suddenly and all in one week.
