SANTA and his sleigh will return to the streets of Farnham this Christmas thanks to the efforts of a small group of dedicated volunteers.
Farnham Round Table are hosting the Santa Sleigh run again this year, traversing the streets of Farnham from December 13 to 22.
Accompanied by his trusty elves, music and the odd treat or two, Santa will greet the boys and girls of Farnham ahead of his ‘official’ visit on December 24.
The first night on Tuesday, December 13, will see Santa weave his way through Folly Hill, followed by south Farnham on Thursday, December 15, The Chantrys and town centre on Monday, December 19 and finally Heath End on Thursday, December 22 (full routes and timings below).
Elves will be knocking on doors hoping to raise as much money as possible to enable those less fortunate to enjoy a great Christmas.
Farnham Round Table is a sociable organisation for men aged between 18 and 45 years old.
Each year the group raises in excess of £40,000 for local charities and is responsible for the Farnham Charity Bike Ride, Farnham Fireworks and Santa’s Sleigh.
Anyone interested in getting involved with the group can get in touch via its website www.farnhamroundtable.org.uk.
