A LISS-based Naval man has been awarded in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.

Commodore Campbell Christie, 54, has been appointed a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his work in the Royal Navy as assistant chief of staff (training), an appointment he took up in February 2008.
