We were too eager to have fun at the Camelsdale PTA fayre.

The event takes place on Saturday July 1, not this Saturday as printed - but it will be well worth the wait!

Camelsdale Primary School’s PTA summer fayre takes place from midday to 3pm on Saturday July 1.

There will be a bar, Pimm's tent and BBQ with meat from Bell’s Butchers, stalls selling handmade goodies, crazy golf, an inflatable assault course and bouncy castle for the little ones, as well as the chance to win £100 cash in our raffle.

Singer and guitarist, James Hunt, will be playing live and the school choir will be singing.

Chair of the Camelsdale PTA, Rosemary Lawrence, said: "We are very excited about our Summer Fayre and are looking forward to welcoming the community to join in all the festivities.

"We really appreciate the support we’ve received from our sponsors, we couldn’t do any of this without them.

"The Summer Fayre is a highlight of the Camelsdale calendar providing a chance for families to come together, enjoy all the fun of the fayre and raise some vitally needed funds for the school.”

Entry is £2 per adult (children go free), with all proceeds going towards new IT equipment for the children.

The event’s sponsors are Robert Walters Group, TWG Sports Cars, Clarke Gammon and Southern Counties Stoves.

So put your sun cream on, save your pennies for the coconut shy and get your dancing shoes ready for a summer celebration with the Camelsdale PTA!
