TV and radio personality Vanessa Feltz and her partner singer-songwriter Ben Ofoedu were among a number of well-known celebrities who attended an Affordable Art Fair in aid of a charity set up by a Frensham schoolboy before his premature death from cancer.

More than 450 people attended the one day fair at the Cross Barn Art Fair in Odiham last month.

As well as being a wonderful venue for some of the best artists in north east Hampshire and south east Surrey, the event raised more than £800 for charity robbiesrally set up by Edgeborough School pupil Robbie Keville before his death aged 10.

Robbie’s dad Mark, who now runs the charity in aid of the Southampton Hospital Charity, said: “Wow - what a success. Well done and thank you so much for all you have done for the charity. I’m going down to Southampton Hospital tomorrow so will hand it over then. Again, congratulations and many, many thanks.”

All the artists displaying work at the fair, including many from the Farnham area, are taught at the Cross Barn by the well-known artist and illustrator Jamel Adib. For more information visit the website www.crossbarnart.com.

The next exhibition of the Cross Barn Art Group is on Saturday and Sunday, April 29 to 30, 2017.
