THE Central Club, a feature of the Farnham social scene for more than 50 years is to close, leaving a question mark over the future of the building in South Street.

With a one-time high of more than 2,000 members, the club became established as a popular meeting place for a variety of clubs and societies, but because of an increase in rent cannot continue.
