FARNHAM’S wrestling golden boy LDN British Champion Alan Lee Travis defended his British Heavyweight Championship at a sold out Millennium Centre in Liphook.

The evening marked the second LDN Wrestling event in Liphook this year, and featured wrestlers from both sides of the pond, including former WWE Superstar and British Heavyweight Champion Joe Legend and audience favourites Hari Singh, Joey Scott as well as JJ and LDN bad boy Crusher Curtis.

The main event, a special tables match featured Crusher Curtis versus Alan Lee Travis (pictured far left), who narrowly defended his title and was declared the overall winner, once again bringing the house down.

Alan, a personal trainer from Farnham and LDN head coach, became hooked on wrestling as a young boy and started his training at the age of 12. He is one of the most accomplished LDN stars, having been a former tag champion and three times LDN champion.

“I enjoy the physical as well as mental side of wrestling, which has now become a full time occupation”, he told The Herald. “The three most important thing you have to deliver in the ring are strength, power and speed, as well as a personal image.”

LDN promoter Sanjay Bagga added: “LDN has become synonymous with top quality live events, perfectly blending the glitz and glamour of American sports entertainment with traditional British wrestling.

“We create a modern approach to wrestling that is always a great night out for people of all ages - from children to grandparents. We are returning to the Liphook Millennium Centre on Friday, April 6, 2018.”
