EAST Hampshire Leisure Learning tutor Sue Kelly will is celebrating World Tai Chi Day next Saturday (April 28) with an invitation to join her for a free session.
Open to all ages, the session takes place in Alton Public Gardens from 10am-11am.
World Tai Chi Day began in 1999 to introduce people to the health and well-being benefits of practising tai chi or qigong, such as improving balance, co-ordination and mobility, helping to relieve stress, and lifting spirits.
Tai chi and qigong can be done either standing or seated, so it is an ideal form of exercise for everyone, according to Sue.
There will also be chances to find out more about the classes Sue runs for East Hampshire Leisure Learning.
