VOLUNTEERS of the Liss Neighbourhood Plan are putting on a two-day exhibition in the village hall.

It starts tomorrow at 3pm and runs until Saturday.

There will also be a public forum meeting on Saturday morning, starting at 10am, with a number of short presentations and updates on findings so far.

Although the information gathering phase has officially ended, there is still an opportunity to give feedback on the research done as well as proposals on where housing should go in Liss.

Residents are invited to come and see the exhibition and attend the meeting to hear the proposals and put their views across to the seering group and sub-working group members.

The joint core strategy agreed by the Government in 2014 dictates that Liss has to build a minimum of 136 new homes on brownfield sites and 150 new homes on greenfield sites by 2028. The neighbourhood plan will show where Liss villagers would prefer them to be built.

The next phase is for the plan to be drafted before the end of the year, when it will be available for public comment in the new year.

An environment survey is available at lissnp.org.uk.
