YOUNG drivers will be able to test their skills behind the wheel at the next Autotest event to be run by East Hampshire District Council.
To be held on Sunday, April 17, in the car park of EHDC’s offices at Penns Place in Petersfield, the event gives young people the chance to challenge themselves on the track.
Autotest is all about precision, rather than speed, with the participants asked to negotiate a tricky track that will test their control of the vehicle. It is organised in partnership with Southsea Motor Club and sees more than 20 young people between the ages of 14 and 21 take part.
Anyone keen to ‘have a go’ should get in touch with Chris Phillips, of the Southsea Motor Club, on 023 9245 5541 or email [email protected]
Another Autotest event is planned in July. Anyone who does not get in the April event will be given priority.
