A CENTRE that provides a lifeline for many elderly people in the Farnham area claims its needs have been completely overlooked in a move to get the East Street development under way "at any cost".
In a letter to Waverley borough councillors this week, the Brightwells Gostrey Centre has appealed for their support, after learning how the massive building works on its doorstep will hamper its operation.
The promise of a bright, new future in a brand new centre at the heart of the development has also turned sour.
