FARNHAM Town Council is to spend £35,000 on essential repairs to restore the chapel buildings at West Street Cemetery to a suitable state for a Grade II Listed building.

The council, which took over four cemeteries and associated buildings from Waverley Council in 2004, has blamed poor repairs by Waverley for the chapel's current condition.
