CHARITY Farnham ASSIST has hosted its latest Lego exhibition at Farnham Rugby Club.

This was ASSIST’s third year of running the event – and the brick bonanza had the added attraction of Robot War build-and-battle sessions, in which children and adults created robots with technical Lego which was then programmed to battle on a table-top arena.

The event attracted almost 1,000 people of all ages with the Brickish society exhibitors, as well as local master builders, displaying rollercoasters, space craft, haunted houses as well as working ball runs and town-centre layouts.

This year was bigger and better with 16 exhibitors and many Lego brick sellers filling the hall with their products.

Farnham ASSIST thanked all the exhibitors, especially Vaughn Medway, who gathered the master builders together, the Farnham ASSIST charity volunteers who worked tirelessly to set up and sell tickets, and Kidd Rapinet, who again sponsored the event so all the funds raised could go towards helping prevent loneliness in older people living alone.
