HAMPSHIRE County Council is asking residents to check new bus timetables for any changes to their usual routes following a review of public transport funding which was carried out earlier in the year.

A consultation to examine what was most important to Hampshire residents, received over 3,000 responses.

Residents stated daytime services on weekdays were the most important journeys for them, because this is how they travel to health appointments and shops.

The county council has to find savings of £100m by March 2015 and reviewed the £4.7m it spends on subsidies to support bus services across Hampshire.
