A SCHOOL in Petersfield was full of cheeky monkeys at the weekend – quite literally!
The occasion was the annual Cheeky Monkeys Tea Party hosted by the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) at The Petersfield School on Saturday.
The exciting afternoon, organised by the Petersfield and Liss branch of the popular charity at the Cranford Road school, was non-stop fun and featured face painting, a bouncy castle and taster sessions from district children’s music and dance classes.
There were also cake and craft stalls, and a stall offering nearly-new clothes.
Rhian Rouse, from the Petersfield and Liss branch of the NCT said: ‘The Cheeky Monkey’s Tea Party was packed with activities – from music and playball to face painting and dance sessions.
“The proceeds of the tea party go toward helping the work of the local NCT, which supports parents and carers across the area, and provides practical support in all areas of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.”
The final fundraising figure was still being counted when the Herald went to press.
