A YOUNG girl from Liss is celebrating after her artistic efforts in raising money for a worthy cause came up trumps.

Five-year-old Poppy McGhee, who raised cash through sales of Christmas cards and calendars, presented a cheque for £454.54 to Naomi House children's hospice fundraiser Peter Thwaites at St Laurence Church Hall in Station Road.
Poppy not only raised a tidy sum for the children's hospice near Winchester with her ingenious idea, but she managed to corner the market of a cleaning firm in Havant which ordered 200 cards from her for their customers.
