THE children in the reception year and nursery at Weyford Infant and Nursery School have learned about healthy eating.

New headteacher Diane Lawry set the tone with an assembly about healthy eating and all the children thought carefully about creating healthy snacks.

And on February 5, the snacks included frozen fruity yoghurt pots, pita pockets and wraps, tomato and strawberry ladybirds, fruit and salad kebabs and rice-cake owls. Tesco supported the Fun With Food morning for the third year running, donating fresh fruit and vegetables for the big day.
