CHILDREN from Hollycombe Primary School were transported back in time to Ancient Egypt circa 3000BC, with the help of the Haslemere Museum.

Teachers and pupils dressed in Egyptian costumes, wearing a fantastic array of imaginative and wondrous outfits. There were mummies, gods, pharaohs, queens, hunters, and even an interpretation of the River Nile.

Children continued to impress with their display of fantastic homemade artefacts, which even included a sarcophagus, and enjoyed exploring and finding out more about their fascinating topic.
