ST MATTHEW’S School in Blackmoor hosted its Christmas fair on Saturday.
Staff said the event was well attended and the Parents Teachers and Friends Association (PFTA) worked “extremely hard”. Their efforts saw the day generate more than £2,500, which will go towards school “extras”, like interactive whiteboards and outside learning.
“It all went very well,” said the PTFA’s Lucy Brand.
“It was the first time we have run this event on a Saturday and we were delighted with the turnout from both our school families and the community. All proceeds will be used to provide additional resources at St Matthews.”
